FAQ:

  • Trips are typically between 8-20 guests. Occasionally, there are larger trips for NYE or other holidays but the goal is to focus on curated journeys with smaller groups as that is the magic in making real friendships.

  • Travelers are usually 28 – 45 years old. Everyone who attends is accomplished, fun, adventurous, and can go with the flow if a storm creeps in while you’re in a tiny boat at sea (yes that happened).

Guests tend to be executives at companies spanning all industries and stages and are at the director level or above, investors or founders. We focus on bringing together people who can be present, are open to connecting with others and find meaning in travel.

Attendees are married, single and in relationships, with and without kids - we get everyone!

  • Our trips are busy and filled with adventure. If you enjoy lots of time alone and to be sedentary, this will not be right for you. Given these are foreign countries, things can can go wrong; if you complain, are negative, get anxious in tough situations or are difficult, you won’t mesh with the group or setting. We’d be happy to give tips for other companies that offer a lot more room for free time in an itinerary if you’re interested in that.

  • Everyone is welcome though at least half of the trips we host are women only. We do not have any trips with children.

  • Each trip will specify what is or isn’t included, but usually most meals, accommodations, experiences, and transport. We aim to have a fully inclusive experience, so you don’t have to worry about anything.

  • Airfare, shopping or incidental expenses, laundry, travel insurance, and fees into and out of the country. Usually alcohol is not included, but there may be welcome drinks or other specific times when a drink is included with a meal or for a party.

  • Most trips range from $500 - $1,500 per person per night sharing including excursions, guides, transportation, lodging, and most meals. We stay in a combination of unique 4-5* luxury hotels, villas, and retreats. We aim to find unique lodging that is stylish, modern, and fitting for its destination. For nights where we are in transit quickly going in and out of a city or airport, we look for comfortable but not luxury accommodations in an effort to better direct spend towards other items on the itinerary. Due to the nature of our trips (e.g., safari, cooking intensives etc), we aim to price all-inclusive for ease. We do offer a small number of trips at a much higher price point that are invite-only for high-net-worth individuals.

  • Sometimes. We host trips ourselves and partner up with travel companies (like &beyond who owns their properties) to create journeys. Where it makes sense for something like a kitesurfing intensive or a yoga retreat, we’ll partner with teachers and travel companies who specialize in the activity to ensure you have top quality providers.

  • Usually there are a few hours each day to change and relax, but we focus on trying to create experiences where you can bond with the other guests. You can always skip any part of the itinerary if you are not feeling up to it. There is usually one main activity per day plus group meals.
